Job description

We are seeking a medical receptionist to play a key role in creating a positive patient experience. Jobs will include directing front desk operations, greeting patients face to face or on the telephone scheduling/cancelling appointments and provide administrative support.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors.
  • Manage appointment scheduling using the practice clinical system.
  • Administrative tasks.
  • Provide support to the wider healthcare team as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • 5 GCSEs grade C or above to include Maths & English (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience working in a GP practice or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Strong IT skills.

The Hill Medical Group is a busy well established GP practice providing care to our local community. We have a friendly supportive team environment and are committed to providing high quality patient care while supporting the well-being and development of our staff. We are currently seeking two full time members of staff 36 hours per week and 37.5 hours per week hours vary from 8.30am to 6.00pm but are on a set schedule.
