Physiotherapy Administration Co-Ordinator Band 4 NHSCT
Job description
The post-holder will have responsibility for co-ordinating the administrative duties for the Physiotherapy Service. The post-holder will manage a team of administrative officers, delegating and prioritising the administrative tasks of the Physiotherapy Service. This will involve overseeing the Patient related administrative functions as well as administrative and clerical duties required by the Physiotherapy Service. Responsibilities
- To manage a team of Physiotherapy administrative office staff, ensuring all administrative duties are delegated and carried out so that agreed objectives are achieved.
- Develop and maintain clear induction and training handbooks for physiotherapy administrative staff.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in administration AND 2 years’ experience in a clerical / administrative role/ dealing directly with customer enquiries/ using patient administrative functions and managing waiting lists
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. Criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved.
Further Information
Salary: £27,485 - £30,162 per annum.
