Job description

The post holder will provide administrative and information support for Cardiology Services, acting as a point of contact for staff and external organisations. They will maintain centralised systems to receive, record and track data required for audit and NICOR. The role includes entering, updating and checking data on electronic databases to ensure accuracy and completeness. The post holder will collate information from different sources and assist with the production of routine reports as required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a centralised database to record and monitor requests for information and reports.
  • Produce routine performance and activity reports for the Cardiology service using Key Information Systems E.g. Epic, ECR.
  • Collect, record and update service data accurately, including activity and service statistics.
  • Collate statistics to support service monitoring, audit and governance requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • HNC/HND or equivalent / higher qualification in an administrative related field AND 1 years’ experience in a Band 3 clerical / administrative role; OR 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C / 9-4 including English language and Maths or equivalent.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.
