Data Information Officer
Job description
The post holder’s primary responsibility will be to support the Data Information Manager in the development and maintenance of information management systems for Cardiology Recall. The post-holder will provide support for the full range of information management functions including the dissemination, collation, and analysis of information in an efficient and timely manner. The post-holder will act as the service point of contact for external organisations, HSC and the Department of Health and Senior Staff of Belfast Trust.
Responsibilities
- Collect, validate and maintain accurate data from multiple systems, ensuring completeness, consistency and compliance with reporting standards and deadlines.
- Perform routine data quality checks and analysis, producing clear, user-friendly reports using Microsoft Office packages.
- Work collaboratively with staff to improve data collection processes and proactively communicate data quality issues.
- Maintain local databases and act as a key point of contact for Cardiology Recall, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and escalating issues appropriately.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- HNC/HND or equivalent / higher qualification in an administrative related field AND 1 years’ experience in a Band 3 clerical / administrative role
- OR 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C / 9-4 including English language and Maths or equivalent / higher qualification AND 2 years’ experience in a Band 3 clerical / administrative role
- OR 3 years’ experience in a Band 3 clerical / administrative role.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.
