Job description

NWCare is a family run domiciliary care agency serving the community in Northern Ireland for over 50 years. Due to expansion of service, we are now recruiting staff for rotas in Gortin for morning and afternoons on a 3/3 rota - Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday week 1 and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday week 2. Please note: Criteria for this role is that you apply for an Enhanced AccessNI certificate.

Responsibilities

• Care in the community.
• Personal care.
• Light meal preparation.
• Companionship.
• General tidy round leaving all areas safe and clean.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle.
• Great communication skills.
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care.
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care.
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care.

Desirable Skills

• QCF level 3 in H & SC.
• Previous paid caring experience.
