Job description

Working as part of the wider Finance and Corporate Services team, you will provide flexible administrative support across the organisation, helping to ensure efficient operations, strong governance and an excellent service experience for internal and external stakeholders. This is a varied post offering exposure to a wide range of business functions, including human resources, finance, training, IT, facilities and general administration. Training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Staff and Volunteer Development Coordinator (SVDC) to maintain accurate human resource records, including absence management, progression, etc
  • Human Resources administration relating to the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, induction, learning & development, performance, internal working groups
  • Finance administration support
  • Training services administration
  • IT and telephony support
  • Facilities managements administration

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • GCSE English Language and Mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent) AND at least 2 years’ experience in a business support role OR at least 4 years’ experience in a business support role
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team in prioritising tasks, meeting challenging deadlines and displaying high levels of initiative and judgement
  • Knowledge and experience of business support functions such as finance, human resources, IT, training, facilities, and/or administrative services
  • Competency in business software packages and ability to provide ICT support and problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver high quality customer service

Desirable Skills

  • A business, finance or human resources related qualification as well as experience of collaborative working in partnership with external stakeholders would be advantageous
