This is a great opportunity for candidates looking for steady work within a busy food production environment. As a Production Operative, you will support the day-to-day running of the production area, helping to prepare, pack and process products safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring production runs smoothly.
• Working on a busy production line.
• Packing, preparing and handling products in line with site procedures.
• Checking products meet quality and presentation standards.
• Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe.
• Following food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures.
• Supporting the wider production team to meet daily targets.
• Carrying out general production duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Basic level of English.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Desirable Skills

• Time management. Quality Control.
• Willingness to work in a busy production environment.
• Previous production, manufacturing, food production or warehouse experience would be beneficial, but is not essential.
