We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Programme Coordinator to lead initiatives focused on Shared Heritage and Healthy Families. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage community-based projects that promote cultural preservation and public health. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating activities, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of programmes aligned with organisational goals. Responsibilities
- To support the delivery of the RESTART project across the three areas with specific responsibility for the following:
- To secure participation of partners, target beneficiaries, venues, facilitators and associated supporting services including cate.
- To identify project timelines including required key milestones, outputs and outcomes and reporting to Programme Manager as per SEUPB requirements.
- To collate relevant section 75 information, use of appropriate evaluation tools and mechanisms (e.g. Warwick Edinburgh scales/other as required by Project evaluation).
- To upload relevant activity information to JEMS and any other required databases considering GDPR.
- To manage of programme budgets, financial reporting, procurement invoice vouching in line with PEACEPLUS requirements.
- To contribute to annual and end of project reports for programmes.
- To provide regular project reports as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Experience in the delivery of projects, including working in a project which has a variety of stakeholders.
- Working knowledge and competency in Information Technology (IT) skills, with experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Understanding of community development, community health and good relations and experience of the sector.
- Evidence of a range of essential communication skills both in person and online.
- Evidence of a range of essential communication skills both in person and online.
- Full valid Driving Licence and access to a mode of transport that would enable you to perform the duties of this post.
- Experience in the use of financial management systems.
- Ability to work on a flexible manner and a engage successfully as part of a team on behalf of the employing organisation
- Willing to undergo an Access NI Check to obtain a Disclosure Certificate issued by AccessNI or Garda check.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge or experience of community development, working within a community development context and an understanding of social enterprises, and community, social issues and challenges within the geographical area of Fermanagh and Monaghan and Cavan.
- Experience of working with and reporting to a voluntary management committee
Further Information
