The role of Pricing and Tenders Administrator is key in securing business on a global basis. The successful applicant will assist the tenders team to identify suitable tenders, develop quality proposal and pretentions to identify tender opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Updating of registers, databanks, and weekly management reports.
- Maintain internal libraries and tools to aid future tenders.
- Maintain internal pricing files and coordinate with the logistics team.
- Run reports for internal departments when required.
- Monitoring of email inboxes.
- Assist in anything else required by the tenders team.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Computer literate with all Microsoft packages.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
- Keen to acquire and develop new knowledge and skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Currently have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
- Valid driving licence and access to a car, as the site is quite remote and not accessible via public transport.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- Experience in an administration role.
- Experience using tender portals.
- Previous experience working to deadlines.
Further Information
Location: Office based at 55 Diamond Road, Crumlin, BT29 4QY. Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 4 x 9 hours with half day Friday 4hrs or 4 x 10 hours, Monday to Thursday.
