Job description

The post holder will be a member of a team providing a pharmaceutical service to the Southern Trust Area. This will include the ordering, storage, rotation, assembly and packing of pharmaceutical stock for all wards, departments and clinics in the Southern Trust Area. The post holder will be required to complete a Level 2 Certificate in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Support Staff. Responsibilities

• Assemble daily and weekly orders including participation in ward "top-up" services and intravenous fluid rounds and ordering of pharmaceutical stock and medical gases.
• Assist in the work of the non-sterile manufacturing area, including pre-packing of pharmaceuticals.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Hold five GCSEs grades (A-G) or equivalent including Maths and English Language Grade 'C' or above. Please state your grades.
• Ability to work accurately and with a high level of attention to detail.

Desirable Skills

• Experience of working in a pharmacy environment.
• Working knowledge of IT systems to include Microsoft Word and email systems.
