Podiatry Administrative Team Leader Band 4
Job description
The post holder will carry out the full remit of a Podiatry Band 3 Higher Clerical Officer as well as assist in the daily supervision and coordination of administrative support across the Podiatry service. The post holder will work closely with the Deputy Podiatry Manager and Admin Locality Manager providing reports and activity data as required and in line with Trust policies. This role will also include a level of staff management ensuring there is adequate office cover for the provision of the service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and provide support to podiatry administration staff across the NHSCT Podiatry Service. For example, assisting in managing performance, delegating tasks and training of staff.
- Liaise with the Podiatry team regarding allocation of slots and management of clinics when necessary.
- Being responsible for overseeing a range of duties including appointment booking, coordination of work queues, clinics and call handling ensuring an adherence to agreed protocol.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A degree or HNC HND or equivalent qualification AND 1 years’ experience in an administrative role.
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport.
- Or 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C including English and Math’s or equivalent higher qualification AND 2 years’ experience in a clerical / administrative
