Job description
In this rewarding role, you will work directly with teachers to help them develop approaches that promote pupils' wellbeing, resilience, independence, and positive decision-making. You will coordinate programme delivery, form strong working relationships with school communities, and ensure sessions reflect the requirements of the Curriculums across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers in the effective implementation of the Botvin LifeSkills Programme.
- Work collaboratively with pastoral teams, and senior leaders to embed the programme within school systems.
- Build positive, professional relationships with teachers, parents, and wider community partners.
- Monitor programme fidelity to ensure high-quality delivery and strong evidence of impact.
- Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures in line with organisational and school requirements.
- Contribute to wider service delivery, including parent workshops, teacher training, and community-based sessions where needed.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A recognised degree level professional qualification in Teaching, Youth Work, or Social Work.
- Practical experience in designing or delivering structured programmes or workshops related to social and emotional learning.
- Proven experience working with children and young people in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle with business class insurance to use during working hours (alternatively those applicants with a disability that prevents them from holding a driving licence should be able to demonstrate how.
Further Information
Salary: £32,142 - £39,106 (FTE) (£19,285 - £23,463 pro rata)
