Job description
This an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the Health and Social Care. Services to support Children and Young People (CYP) with or expected Special Educational Needs (SEN) to develop service improvement and integrated working arrangements. The post-holder will work with the already established SEN team and report to the relevant CYP Lead across the full range of issues relevant to the work of the HSC Trust in supporting CYP with SEN. Responsibilities
- Support senior HSC Trust management staff in developing and implementing service improvement projects and initiatives in line with regional developments, to time and in a cost-effective way.
- Demonstrate/utilise advanced knowledge, skills and experience of service improvement and CYP services in the SEN sector and its interface with education services, being able to work with key stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Experience of supporting CYP with SEN and evidence of joint working between the health and education sectors.
- Service improvement that demonstrates responsibility for delivering service reform against a range of challenging targets/objectives.
Desirable Skills
- Demonstrable knowledge of health and social structures, processes and procedures.
- Demonstrable knowledge of latest thinking in transformation, quality improvement and change methodology in a healthcare environment.
