Arts in Health Manager Band 7 BHSCT
Job description
The post holder will be required to drive the implementation of the Trust’s Arts in Health Strategy, with a view to greatly enhancing the experience of and outcomes for patients, service users, carers, visitors and staff. The post holder will be required to engage widely with staff at all levels across the Trust to help integrate the arts into mainstream health and social care and to engage with a wide range of stakeholders externally, to gain support for this work. This will include advancing work to protect our art and heritage and seeking alternative funding sources for promoting the arts in health and social care. Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation of the Arts in Health Strategy, producing annual actions plans and reporting annually on progress.
- Refine and consolidate a model for Arts in Health for the Belfast Trust.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Able to demonstrate achievement of significant improvements to patient and user wellbeing through application of the arts in health and social care.
- Able to demonstrate experience of planning and delivery against agreed goals to achieve outcomes of benefit to service users
Desirable Skills
- Post-graduate degree in Management Studies or equivalent.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools such as Prince 2 Foundation and Microsoft Project.
Further Information
Salary: £47,810 - £54,710 per annum pro rata.
