Responsibilities

• To assist in the assessment of individuals and provide interventions under the supervision of a senior team member.
• In the first instance the post will provide support to the Community Mental Health Team as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• By date of appointment applicant must be listed or eligible to be registered on NISCC Register of Social Care Workers.
• Certificate in Community Care or Social Care or NVQ Level 2 Care or BTEC National Diploma in Caring Services (Social Care) or equivalent or 2 years’ caring or nursing experience in a Residential/Nursing/Community or Hospital setting.
• Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport.
