Cook based in Rathfriland.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the efficient production of high quality meals and snacks, whilst maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ensure all food items and products are stored, prepared and served based on the Homes recipes, preparation and portion standards.
• Assist in training and supervision of catering staff.
• Ordering kitchen ingredients based on the menu.
• Adhere to HASAP standards.
• Prepare quality meals and snacks for special diets.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• None required.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not essential.
• Familiarity with IDDSI guidance would be an advantage.
