Job description

Make Purchase/Sales Ledger entries and ensure accuracy of all transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for process and distribution of monthly Statements.
  • Answering telephone, responding to and resolving customer queries.
  • Supplier payments.
  • Maintaining good relations with customer and suppliers.
  • Creditor & Debtor control.
  • Banking/lodgements.
  • Reconciling accounts.
  • Forwarding monthly VAT Summaries & Yearly Trial Balances to Company Accountant.
  • Perform other clerical duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Strong administration skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in an accounts office.
  • Use of databases although training will be provided.
