Accounts Clerk
Job description
Make Purchase/Sales Ledger entries and ensure accuracy of all transactions.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for process and distribution of monthly Statements.
- Answering telephone, responding to and resolving customer queries.
- Supplier payments.
- Maintaining good relations with customer and suppliers.
- Creditor & Debtor control.
- Banking/lodgements.
- Reconciling accounts.
- Forwarding monthly VAT Summaries & Yearly Trial Balances to Company Accountant.
- Perform other clerical duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Strong administration skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in an accounts office.
- Use of databases although training will be provided.
