Stitcher (Sewing Machinist)


Job description

Key Responsibilities. Production Sewing: Operate industrial sewing machines (overlock, flatlock, coverstitch) to assemble garment components accurately according to technical specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Fabric Handling.
  • Machine Maintenance.
  • Fabric Handling: Work expertly with various sports materials and technical stretch fabrics.
  • Quality Control: Inspect components before, during, and after sewing to ensure high-quality stitching, correct tension, and adherence to production standards.
  • Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning, oiling, and changing needles to prevent downtime.
  • Speed and Efficiency: Meet daily production targets and deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Workplace Safety: Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including strict compliance with broken needle policies. Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow precise technical specifications.
  • Physical Dexterity: Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
