Job description

An established apple grower based in Co. Armagh is seeking hardworking, reliable Seasonal Harvest Workers to join their team for the upcoming apple harvest. This is physically demanding outdoor work, carried out in all weather conditions. You'll be picking, sorting, and handling apples to a high standard, working as part of a team to meet daily targets.

Responsibilities

• Picking apples by hand to quality and speed standards.
• Careful handling of fruit to avoid bruising or damage.
• Sorting and grading fruit.
• Loading and moving bins/crates.
• General orchard duties as required.
• Following health and safety procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to work at a steady pace for extended periods, including bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Able to commit to 32 hours per week for the entire duration of the harvest season.

Desirable Skills

• Previous fruit picking or agricultural experience preferred but not essential .full training will be provided.
