Job description

We are currently recruiting for the role of a Fitter. The role is with Versaffix which is part of the Re-Gen Group and will be reporting to the management team. The successful candidate will be required to facilitate and assist with the manufacture and fitting of our tilt-rotators. You will also help maintain and develop the facilities and mechanical infrastructure, within our workshop, always ensuring a high-quality standard is achieved and ensuring Health & Safety procedures are always adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum productivity and minimise downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on production machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, and associated plant equipment.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in fitting mechanical components.
• Ability to work unsupervised or desire to train to a high standard of workmanship to achieve deadlines. (training will be available where needed). Strong interpersonal skills.
