Job description

To work within the Domestic and Laundry departments as and when required while also working within the Christian ethos of Trinity House. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.

Responsibilities

• To clean and tidy toilets, bathrooms, bedrooms and communal areas
• To follow procedures for the appropriate disposal of waste
• To wash, iron, itemise and distribute residents’ clothes
• To wash and iron all household laundry e.g. sheets, pillowcases, napkins etc
• Minor sewing repairs

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Evidence an understanding of and respect for the needs of older people
• Awareness of health and safety practices within a working and residential environment
• Willingness to work additional hours to meet the requirements of the Home
• Must be willing to behave in a manner which respects the Christian ethos of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland

Further Information

Work Time: 8am-6pm & 8am-1pm, worked on rota basis.
