Job description

Provide and deliver a range of day-to-day specified facilities cleaning duties and support services in accordance with standard operating procedure(s) and health and safety obligations. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.

Responsibilities

• Undertake routine and deep cleaning activities across visitor attractions facilities, ensuring standards are maintained to specification and delivered in accordance with schedules of work.
• Enure safe storage, application and retrieval of all cleaning materials / substances and low maintenance repair / replacement support services including stock control of sundry materials.
• Provide and maintain hygienic and clean standards across all facilities including general cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuuming, emptying of bins, polishing / dusting designated areas.
• In compliance with OHSAS report hazards, log and report all accidents, incidents, spillages and report any maintenance defects to Line Manager.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous cleaning experience.
• Previous experience dealing with members of the public.
• Knowledge and understanding of health and safety within a public building.
• Knowledge and understanding of COSHH regulations.

Desirable Skills

• It is desirable that applicants possess a current recognised COSHH qualification, a current recognised manual handling qualification and general maintenance and security of premises

Location: Guildhall. Salary: £25,583 - £26,403 per annum pro rata.
