Maintenance Electrician
Job description
All aspects of maintenance covering Electrical, Plumbing, plus all various trades required to maintain the running of the hotel and licenced properties as required working as part of a small team of maintenance engineers.
Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of maintenance, including electrical work, plumbing, and general repairs, to ensure the functionality of the properties.
- Address maintenance issues promptly and efficiently, minimising disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with a small team of maintenance engineers to ensure all maintenance needs are met.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines while performing tasks.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Qualified time served Electrician.
- Proven experience within a maintenance environment (minimum 3 years desirable five years) Ideally within the hospitality service sector.
- Good I.T. Skills
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to resolve problems and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
- Ability to deal with other contractors or maintenance staff and various Heads of Departments.
- Resourceful and self-motivated.
- Able to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
- Required to work a weekend every 4 weeks.
- For insurance purposes the candidate must be over 25 and have a full UK driving licence.
