Job description

All aspects of maintenance covering Electrical, Plumbing, plus all various trades required to maintain the running of the hotel and licenced properties as required working as part of a small team of maintenance engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of maintenance, including electrical work, plumbing, and general repairs, to ensure the functionality of the properties.
• Address maintenance issues promptly and efficiently, minimising disruption to operations.
• Collaborate with a small team of maintenance engineers to ensure all maintenance needs are met.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines while performing tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Qualified time served Electrician.
• Proven experience within a maintenance environment (minimum 3 years desirable five years) Ideally within the hospitality service sector.
• Good I.T. Skills
• Good communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to resolve problems and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to deal with other contractors or maintenance staff and various Heads of Departments.
• Resourceful and self-motivated.
• Able to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
• Required to work a weekend every 4 weeks.
• For insurance purposes the candidate must be over 25 and have a full UK driving licence.
