Our client is seeking a Warehouse Operative with Forklift Duties Bathroom retailers across Ireland and the UK. Specialising in a niche market, they deliver an unmatched selection of products, exceptional quality, and outstanding value. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a Warehouse Operative for their Carrickfergus warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and organise stock efficiently within the warehouse.
• Carry out materials handling tasks, including heavy lifting, safely.
• Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage.
• Use warehouse management systems to track inventory and stock levels.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation of orders.
• Pick and pack orders with precision to meet requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily operational targets.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous warehouse experience is essential as this is a small team.
• Reach FLT licence essential.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to ensure smooth coordination with colleagues and supervisors.
• A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.
• Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job as some heavy lifting involved.
