Supervisor


Job description

The successful candidate will have demonstrated previous supervisory experience (at least 1 years) in a similar busy Restaurant environment/. They must be able to lead and motivate a team, are customer focused and target driven. They should also be able to implement initiatives to increase revenue and will also have a working knowledge of food and drink stock-takes.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily bar and restaurant service to ensure high standards of customer care.
  • Support the opening and closing of the venue in line with company procedures.
  • Act as a point of contact for staff during shifts, addressing issues promptly and professionally.
  • Deal with customer queries or complaints effectively, escalating where necessary.
  • Stock & Cash Handling.
  • Team Supervision & Training.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Customer care skills.
  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar supervisory role.
  • A proven track record of providing excellent customer care.
  • The ability to supervise a team of employees on a shift basis and delegate effectively.
  • Communication skills.
  • A good working knowledge of I.T Systems.
  • Ability to use own initiative.

Desirable Skills

  • 2 years supervisor experience in a similar busy bar/restaurant.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Hospitality Supervisor & Leadership (or similar).
  • Level 2 or higher Food Hygiene Certificate (must be current).
  • First Aid Certificate (must be current).
