Carry out fire risk assessments on a self-employed, associate basis across a range of commercial, residential and public sector premises throughout Northern Ireland. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, identifying fire hazards, assessing existing fire safety measures, and producing clear, professional fire risk assessment reports with practical recommendations. This is a flexible, home-based role with travel to client sites. Work is offered on an ad hoc basis, depending on project requirements and your availability.
Responsibilities
- Carry out fire risk assessments across a range of premises.
- Produce clear, accurate fire risk assessment reports.
- Liaise professionally with clients during site visits.
- Manage your own workload and meet agreed deadlines.
- Keep up to date with relevant fire safety legislation and guidance.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Experience carrying out fire risk assessments.
- Good knowledge of current fire safety legislation and guidance.
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland.
