Job description

We are currently recruiting Housekeepers to work across a range of nursing homes, residential care homes, and supported living services throughout the Derry/Londonderry area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene while contributing to the wellbeing and comfort of residents.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining communal areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and toilets.
• Mopping, sweeping, and buffing floors and corridors.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Cleaning and polishing surfaces to a high standard.
• Adhering to all health and safety and infection control procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A flexible approach to work.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Access NI check.
• Ability to provide satisfactory employment references.
