We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Care Workers to join our team in Limavady/Derry/Londonderry (Waterside and Cityside areas). This role involves providing high-quality support and assistance to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being. All positions are paid, and offer an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised care plans tailored to each individual's needs, including assistance with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Support Service Users with medication administration and health monitoring as required.

• Assist with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Document care activities accurately and report any concerns to senior staff.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle.
• Great communication skills.
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care.
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care.
• Be well organised/professional/caring.
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care.
• Care about the community they live in.

Desirable Skills

• QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Previous paid caring experience.
