Job description

Our Delivery Driver/ Merchandiser role plays a vital role in ensuring Creative Gardens Food Co. products are delivered safely, presented beautifully, and available for customers across all of Creative Gardens Garden Centres. This role is much more than making deliveries.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for maintaining attractive, fully stocked retail displays that reflect the quality of our Creative Gardens Food Co. brand.
• Through excellent merchandising, careful stock rotation and close communication with the Bakehouse Production Manager, you will help maximise sales while reducing waste.
• You will become the eyes and ears of the Bakehouse within our retail areas, providing valuable feedback on customer buying trends, seasonal demand and product performance.
• Once deliveries and merchandising have been completed, you will support the Bakehouse team with stock preparation, cleaning and other operational duties.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation standards.
• Ability to work independently while managing priorities.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving bakery products safely, bending, stooping standing.
• Reliable, punctual and dependable.
• A commitment to quality and presentation.

Desirable Skills

• Previous delivery driving or multi-drop experience.
• Experience in retail merchandising or visual display.
• Experience working with food products.
• Food Safety or Hygiene qualification (or willingness to undertake training).
• Experience using EPOS or stock management systems.
