Deputy Centre Manager
Job description
To be the responsible person in charge in the Absence of the Manager between the hours of 7:30am-6:00pm. To ensure compliance with legal requirements at all times.
Responsibilities
- To liase closely with all staff to ensure that a high quality service is maintained through good teamwork.
- To ensure policies and procedures are implemented within the setting on a daily basis and that all staff are responsible for implementing these.
- The Assistant Manager will be accountable to the Manager/ Board of Directors/ Management Committee of First Steps and will be responsible for the care of the staff team.
- To ensure the smooth running of First Steps Childrens Centre which, when full capacity is obtained, will cater for 101 children between the ages of 12 weeks and 12 years.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- To hold a current Level 5 qualification in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent or working towards..
- To have experience of working in an Early Years setting.
Further Information
Candidate will have to undergo relevant vetting procedures.
