Fundraising Officer
Job description
Foyle Hospice has a vacancy for a Fundraising Officer, based in Omagh. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with a wide range of donors and securing fundraising support through effective engagement and communication. Responsibilities
- The Fundraising Officer will report to the Director of Income Generation and Communications and have responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships and fundraising support through engagement and communication with donors.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- At least one years’ experience in a paid role in fundraising or sales with a clear track record of achievements is essential as are a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to plan and deliver fundraising activities effectively and safely are also required.
- A positive proactive approach with flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends is also essential.
