Job description

We are recruiting for a Metal Fabricator.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate bespoke architectural metalwork from detailed engineering and architectural drawings.
• Working primarily with thin-gauge materials: stainless steel, brass, bronze, and mild steel.
• Execute high-quality TIG and MIG welding, ensuring minimal distortion and neat finishes.
• Cut, form, fold, and prep materials accurately using workshop machinery.
• Finish and polish metals to a premium aesthetic standard prior to coating or delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in fine architectural metalwork, sheet metal fabrication, or high-end bespoke engineering (not heavy structural welding).
• Welding: Strong proficiency in TIG welding is highly essential; MIG welding skills are a plus.
• Drawing Skills: Ability to confidently read, interpret, and work directly from technical drawings.
• Finishing: High competence in grinding, dressing, and polishing welds to a seamless finish.
