Job description

At Peartree Barn Nursery, we offer child-focused care for children from 3 months to 12 years. Our unrivalled space within our rural location offers a relaxed and family orientated experience. The availability of play space means our children have unparalleled access to wide-open green and all weather outdoor play. We are currently seeking Full Time Nursery Assistants. Hours per week between 33 and 41 hours per week over 4 or 5 days.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in the nursery.
• Assisting with children's daily routines.
• Engaging in play and creative activities with the children.
• To assist the Room Leader with monthly, weekly and daily planning.
• Complete observations on the children.
• Work as part of a team to provide high quality care for the children at Peartree Barn Nursery.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Commitment to complete an appropriate childcare qualification.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working with children between the ages of 0-12 years old.
• Qualified in CACHE / QCF Level 2/3 in Children's Care Learning and Development.

Further Information

Work time: Shifts Monday- Friday, between 7.30am - 6pm.
