Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Foreperson to oversee the day to day operations on this apartment build. The successful candidate will take charge of a development of 19 apartments in Lifford Co Donegal. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing house builder with a strong pipeline of work and play a key role in delivering quality homes on schedule and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site operations, trades, and subcontractors.
• Ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with building regulations.
• Manage site schedules, ensuring targets and deadlines are met.
• Monitor quality of workmanship and materials used.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate site records and progress reports.
• Enforce health and safety policies across the site.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven experience as a Foreman / Site Supervisor in residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of building processes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
• Strong focus on health and safety compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Trades background and supervisory experience at Foreman / Foreperson level

Desirable Skills

• Construction experience on housing projects.

Further Information
