Quality Lab Technician


Job description

Client is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to join their team based in Lisburn.

Responsibilities

  • Timely completion of laboratory checks ensuring compliance to the Quality Plan and to Coca Cola standards.
  • Set up and participate in sensory panels as per quality plan.
  • To effectively manage non-conforming product including detention, root cause analysis, corrective action planning and timely release, with effective communication to Production Quality Food Safety Leads.
  • Investigate consumer/customer complaints in a timely manner, engaging with cross functional team, identifying root causes and potential trends, with corrective action plans to drive improvement.
  • Effectively communicate line/area performance driving right first-time culture.
  • Complete metrology checks in-line with plant calibration programme.
  • Support line trials and validations.
  • Contribute to the development of the Coca Cola Quality System.
  • Conduct, Foods Safety & Health & Safety audits as per schedule.
  • Complete other tasks as per business requirements.
  • Active involvement in company programmes.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • 4 GCSEs including Mathematics and English which must be at grade C or above, or equivalent, or 5 years industrial experience.
  • Previous experience of Quality risk analysis/management.
  • At least 6 months experience working in a Micro lab within a food/ drinks production environment.
