DFC Work Experience - Workshop & Retail Assistant


Job description

In this role, you will assist with building and repairing bicycles, supporting daily sales of cycling equipment, maintaining housekeeping standards, and helping with merchandising and shop displays.

Responsibilities

  • Build and repair bicycles.
  • Customer service.
  • Communication with customers regarding their repairs.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • A reasonable level of English and Mathematics.
  • Able to lift heavy goods.

Further Information

Employer - TA Outdoor Life This work experience opportunity is expected to last for 8 weeks and will require attendance of 25 hours per week. While on Work Experience, participants will retain their entitlement to benefit. Those who are not receiving benefit are also welcome to participate. Travel and childcare costs may be reimbursed. Participants will also receive an incentive payment equivalent to £10/day to a maximum of £50/week.
