Job description

You will be responsible for the daily supervision of the final assembly lines, ensuring quality, output, efficiency and safety targets are met. You will play a key part in driving, continuous improvement and team performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work with the pre and postproduction engineers to ensure smooth delivery of production.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate final assembly line activities to meet production targets
• Lead, motivate and develop assembly line fitters
• Monitor output, cycle times and performance of your team
• Report issues and help with solutions
• Support the development and maintenance of SOPs
• Training and assisting assembly line fitters

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3 years' hands on experience in technical / engineering roles

Desirable Skills

• Strong leadership style with hands on approach
