We are currently recruiting for a Chef's Assistant to join our client, Henderson's Kitchen, based in Randalstown. This is a full-time position within a busy food production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Head Chef with food preparation
• Chopping, peeling and preparing ingredients
• Supporting the kitchen team with daily food production
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures
• Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
• Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous kitchen or food production experience is desirable
• Knife skills are essential
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good timekeeping and punctuality.
• Ability to work as part of a team
