Fryer & Kitchen Assistant
Job description
Cooking duties, operating fryers and hotplates. Maintaining a tidy and clean work space.
Responsibilities
- Prep and cook fried menu items, maintaining consistent food quality. Operate Fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality. Restock food supplies and maintain an organised workstation.
- Follow food and hygiene & health and safety regulations at all times. Assist with food preparation and support other kitchen staff during busy service periods.
- Clean fryers and kitchen equipment and work areas to maintain high cleanliness standards. Work efficiently in a fast paced environment to meet customer demand.
- Help with receiving and storing deliveries according to food and safety guidelines. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Good knowledge and experience of working in a fast pace kitchen.
- Good time keeping skills. Good communication skills.
Further Information
Work Time: Mon to Sat, all daytime hours. Business operates between 8am to 4pm.
