We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team at LTS Based just outside Maghaberry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication, including experience with power tools and Tig welding techniques. This role requires the ability to work with various materials. As a Metal Fabricator, you will play a crucial part in assembling and fabricating metal components for our projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
- Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques to join metal pieces securely.
- Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
- Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Fabrication experience.
- Experience in welding, specifically Tig welding methods.
Desirable Skills
- Proven experience in metal fabrication.
- Strong knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues.
- Fabrication experience.
