Job description

Responsible to the Regional Programme Delivery Manager (RPDM) to support in the leading and effective delivery and management of the various Planned Maintenance, Capital and APD work streams. Provide technical advice and support to the RPDM on all scheme related matters. Responsibilities

• To ensure the various work streams are delivered in accordance with the Housing Executive’s policies and procedures and develop these further on an on-going basis etc.
• To oversee the administration of the Programmes in conjunction with Staff/Consultants and report on progress including financial management.
• To prepare specifications, drawings, bills of quantities and schedule of rates to enable the invitation of tenders and quotations as and when required.
• To receive tenders and quotations, evaluate prices, check documents and prepare agreements and contracts.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent Level 6 qualification, in a Building/Construction related discipline PLUS 2 years’ relevant experience working within a Building/Construction function OR
• BTEC Higher or equivalent Level 5 qualification in a Building/Construction related discipline PLUS 3 years’ relevant experience working within a Building/Construction function OR
• Can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development/experiential learning PLUS 4 years’ relevant experience working within a Building/Construction function.
