Job description

Planning, preparation, handling and cooking meals. To ensure all stages of food preparation are maintained to the highest standards ensured the well-being of residents. To ensure the cooking and serving of meals are in accordance with the menu, and Company requirements. To ensure compliance with the Food Safety & Hygiene (Northern Ireland). 1 day per week and holiday cover.

Responsibilities

• Implementing a menu for resident's, taking into account:- hygiene, nutrition, variety, personal preferences, special diets.
• Stock management and maintaining records.
• Ordering goods, foods, vegetables necessary for the preparation and cooking of meals.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
