If so, why not join our team at Optimum Care. As a Community Carer, you will support our clients in their own homes. You will work within one location/area, on either single or double runs. We have Full time and Part time positions available.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care in clients’ homes (washing, dressing/undressing).
• Prepare snacks and refreshments.
• Prompt or administer medication.
• Use approved equipment (hoists, slide sheets) for safe assistance.
• Offer practical support (light cleaning, shopping, laundry).
• Promote clients’ independence, choice, rights, and dignity.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Have a full driver’s licence with access to a car & car insurance in connection with business.
• Have a desire to care for people in their own homes.
• Access to a mobile phone.

Further Information

£500 Joining Bonus paid after 3 months in role. As a Community Carer, you will support our clients in their own homes. You will work within one location/area, on either single or double runs. We have two shifts, day and evening, we will give you a contract with guaranteed hours, and you select how many shifts you can fulfil each week. No experience is needed as we provide you with all training.
