Responsibilities

• Supervise daily bar and restaurant service to ensure high standards of customer care.
• Support the opening and closing of the venue in line with company procedures
• Act as a point of contact for staff during shifts, addressing issues promptly and professionally
• Deal with customer queries or complaints effectively, escalating where necessary
• Stock & cash handling
• Team supervision & training

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar supervisory role
• Excellent customer care skills
• A proven track record of providing excellent customer care
• The ability to supervise a team of employees on a shift basis and delegate effectively
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Effective organisational skills
• A good working knowledge of IT systems
• Ability to use own initiative

Desirable Skills

• 2 years supervisor experience in a similar busy bar/restaurant
• NVQ Level 3 in Hospitality Supervisor & Leadership (or similar)
• Level 2 or higher Food Hygiene Certificate (must be current)
• First Aid Certificate (must be current)

Further Information

Location: The Hillside. The successful candidate will have demonstrated previous supervisory experience (at least 1 years) in a similar busy Restaurant environment, be able to lead and motivate a team, are customer focused and target driven.
