Responsibilities
- Supervise daily bar and restaurant service to ensure high standards of customer care.
- Support the opening and closing of the venue in line with company procedures
- Act as a point of contact for staff during shifts, addressing issues promptly and professionally
- Deal with customer queries or complaints effectively, escalating where necessary
- Stock & cash handling
- Team supervision & training
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar supervisory role
- Excellent customer care skills
- A proven track record of providing excellent customer care
- The ability to supervise a team of employees on a shift basis and delegate effectively
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Effective organisational skills
- A good working knowledge of IT systems
- Ability to use own initiative
Desirable Skills
- 2 years supervisor experience in a similar busy bar/restaurant
- NVQ Level 3 in Hospitality Supervisor & Leadership (or similar)
- Level 2 or higher Food Hygiene Certificate (must be current)
- First Aid Certificate (must be current)
Further Information
Location: The Hillside. The successful candidate will have demonstrated previous supervisory experience (at least 1 years) in a similar busy Restaurant environment, be able to lead and motivate a team, are customer focused and target driven.
