We are recruiting home care assistants to cover flexible rotas in Castlerock, Macosquin, Articlave, Coleraine, Portrush, Portstewart and Ballymoney. Care in the community. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle.
• Great communication skills.
• Able to promote and deliver person centred care.
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care.
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care.

Desirable Skills

• QCF level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Previous paid caring experience.

Further Information

No training or qualifications are required as NWCare provides full bespoke training in their in-house training academy. We work a 4/3 rota pattern - Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The morning rotas begin at 07:00 and finish at 14:30; afternoon rotas begin at 15:00 and finish at 18:30 and the put to bed rotas begin at 19:00 and finish at 23:00. We offer all of our staff: Excellent hourly rate of pay. Mileage paid. Annual leave on a pro rata basis. NISCC - Post registration training learning. On-line learning. Training academies throughout Northern Ireland. Practical paid training. CPD approved certificate for training. QCF Levels 2, 3 and 5 qualifications. Internal career progression. Paid shadowing. Mentoring arrangements. Uniforms supplied. Flexible working hours - full time and part time morning, afternoon, evenings and late rotas. Running 4/3 rotas both full time and part time available.
