We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Store Manager to join our Londonderry Store NI, at Barnardos, for 35 hours per week. Retail. Lead with purpose. Deliver impact. As Store Manager, you'll lead a community hub that turns generosity into vital support for children, young people and families across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Store Associates and volunteers, to maximise sales and profit while managing costs and budgets.
• Encourage donations and manage the Gift Aid process to drive profits.
• Maintain outstanding shop presentation and standards.
• Deliver national and local fundraising campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with financial, security, safeguarding and H&S procedure.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to interpret, implement and advise on procedural guidance from line management and to issue appropriate instructions.
• Ensuring the successful achievement of results through the effective planning and management of resources.
• The need to lead groups of people to work effectively together.
• Working within fashion retail, regarding floor layouts, merchandising, customer service. Making use of basic IT, administration and simple analysis of figures.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
