Job description

We are currently recruiting a Shunter Driver, to assist with the operations in the factory, working within a team. Moving products in the factory/site with accuracy and ready for distribution.

Responsibilities

• Moving products in the factory/site with accuracy and ready for distribution. Keeping the warehouse area clean and tidy and following health and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Shunting articulated trailers around the yard and onto loading / unloading bays Collection of products as per required
• Loading and unloading vehicles. Completing safety assessments.
• Coupling and uncoupling trailers. General factory duties.
• Hand offloading. Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
• Adhering to site Safety Rules and setting safety standards.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• To be able to work in busy fast-paced environment. Forklift Licence (refreshed in the last 3 years).

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in a factory/warehouse environment would be advantageous.
