Under the direction of the Health Improvement and Systems Manager, and as part of the Integrative Cancer Care team at Action Cancer, the Nutritionist will play a key role in developing and delivering safe, effective, and person-centred nutrition services for individuals affected by cancer. Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and review safe, evidence-based nutrition services for people affected by cancer, including those living with and beyond treatment.
• Undertake dietary assessments, reviewing client food logs, lifestyle choices, goals, and wider wellbeing factors.
• Support clients to develop their own personalised nutrition plans and wellness objectives based on individual client needs and preferences.
• Deliver one-to-one and group nutrition education sessions.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• AfN registered degree in Nutrition, or equivalent qualification in nutrition, dietetics, public health nutrition or a closely related subject.
• At least one year’s work experience delivering health, nutrition, wellbeing, public health or lifestyle support services.
