Join Our Team We are seeking a passionate and engaging Training Officer to join our Mental Health and Addiction Services team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact by increasing awareness, understanding, and knowledge of mental health and wellbeing across communities and organisations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, co-ordinate and deliver mental health and wellbeing awareness sessions in the community in line with the organisation’s intended outcomes.
  • Create and deliver engaging and, where possible, co-designed accessible materials and presentations.
  • Manage the collation and reporting of agreed evaluation and monitoring data for group sessions and contribute to the analysis of trends and insights to inform projects and applications.
  • Maintain specialist knowledge in areas of expertise including topics relating to mental health and wellbeing in order to produce current, validated delivery content.
  • Develop strong relationships with communities, referral agencies and the wider public to promote the work of Inspire and help maximise participation and group sessions.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Either: A third level qualification or equivalent in a related field. Or: A minimum of 3 years’ experience gained in a similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience in the delivery of training regarding mental health and wellbeing to a wide range of audiences within a community and/or health setting.
  • Demonstrable experience in the design of training materials and presentations using a co-designed approach.
  • Experience of working within an evaluation and outcome framework.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in partnership and fostering relationships through networking with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong administrative, written and presentational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • To be flexible as the role may involve working at various locations.
  • Possess a full current driving license and access to a car when required.

Further Information

£26,520 - £28,392 per annum (pro rata if applicable)
