We are currently recruiting for a Chef's Assistant to join our client, Henderson's Kitchen, based in Randalstown. This is a full-time position within a busy food production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Head Chef with food preparation.
• Chopping, peeling and preparing ingredients.
• Supporting the kitchen team with daily food production.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures.
• Keeping the kitchen clean and organised.
• Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous kitchen or food production experience is desirable.
• Knife skills are essential.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
